The school is always neat and clean with an amazing variety of activities available, the playground has also had so much love and effort put into it and our daughter has so much fun playing in it that I practically have to drag her home every day! Green Pastures is an absolute treasure and we are so blessed to have found it.
Curriculum Information
- International standard pre-primary programme for children aged 12 months to 6 years, following an authentic Montessori curriculum that nurtures independence, curiosity, and hands-on learning.
- From Grade R onwards, we offer a choice between the Cambridge curriculum and The Good and the Beautiful curriculum, allowing families to choose the academic pathway that best suits their child’s needs.
- Currently offering preschool education and tutoring for primary school learners, with plans to expand into further grades.
- Small class sizes, with a 5 to 12 student-to-teacher ratio, ensuring that each child receives personalised attention and meaningful learning experiences.

The Vision of Green Pastures is to equip each child to not only excel at school but to equip them for life.
We focus on fostering a deep love for learning through thought provoking, engaging activities and by motivating them to explore their natural curiosity and develop their innate ability to become problem solvers, in an environment, specifically prepared with each individual child in mind.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to equip every child holistically, through purposeful work. Each and every activity at school is carefully thought through with specific aims in mind. We want to ensure that every activity is helping us progress in the age-appropriate skills and abilities that we need to work towards. We use high standard learning materials that will ensure that each one of the children in our care is able to reach their full potential. We offer each child the one-on-one attention that they need while also fostering a sense of responsibility over their own learning by stimulating their natural curiosity. We strive to create a home away from home in a safe environment making learning fun and engaging.
CORE VALUES
We aim to create an environment of Biblical principles and values. Our core values are thus purely based on Biblical values. The first being love. We learn from 1 CORINTHIANS 13 what love entails, it is patient, kind, humble it never fails. We aim to show these characteristics at school and throughout our lives.
Stemming from love is mutual respect. We respect one another, just as Jesus respected all off those who crossed his path throughout his walk on earth. We do this, by modeling love and showing each child the love and respect that they deserve and teaching them the skills that will assist them in showing those around them the same love and respect.
